The Effect of Meditation on Physical and Mental Health

According to research, meditation has beneficial and observable benefits on the brain and immune system regarding stress reduction, and students who meditate can better handle life's stresses.

An experiment conducted to test the hypothesis that meditation training improves people's states of mind shows an example of this. In this experiment, twenty graduate students with no prior experience in meditation were divided into a mindfulness meditation group (n = 10) and a control group (n = 10). The experiment measured them for the same variable pre-treatment and post-treatment and found that those who completed the mindfulness meditation training demonstrated significant improvements compared to the control group.
